AS Oriola is a daughter company to Finnish corporation Oriola-KD. Oriola-KD has been established on 1^st of July, 2006 after demerger from Orion Corporation, well known Scandinavian pharmaceutical manufacturer, which has been a parent company to Oriola until then. Today Oriola-KD consists of Finnish pharmaceutical wholesale company Oriola Oy, Swedish based Kronans Droghandel AB and their affiliates in Sweden, Russia and Baltic States. Corporation owns retail outlets in Sweden and Russia too. Public trade of Oriola-KD shares has been started on 3^rd of July 2006 in Helsinki Stock Exchage.
