AS Oriola is one of the three leading wholesalers in
the field of healthcare products in Estonia. The Company’s purpose is to meet
the needs of pharmacies, hospitals, labs, dentists, surgeries and other health
care institutions. AS Oriola is a part of Oriola-KD
Corporation, a growing healthcare professional.
The Company launched its activity in 1992 as a
wholesaler of pharmaceuticals. We offer over 90% of the pharmaceuticals
authorized in Estonia today. AS Oriola also imports, represents and sells
apparatus and equipment from well-known manufacturers as well as a wide
spectrum of various accessories, chemicals and materials for the above
mentioned target groups. In addition, AS Oriola represents several noted
trademarks of consumer goods on the Estonian market such as Blistex, NUK,
Femisoija, Pansool, Canderel and Tanita.
Our
success is based on good partnership relations both with our customers and with
our suppliers. Thanks to highly professional staff of 84 employees we have
enough resources to listen and fulfil the needs of customers. As a subsidiary
of Finnish Oriola-KD Corporation, we are also financially a very reliable
partner to our suppliers. 18th
of March 2008 ISO 9001:2000 certificate was issued by Bureau Veritas
Certification to all AS Oriola business areas. Certificate number is: 227870A
and valid untill 11.March 2011.
Oriola-KD’s strategic objective is to be the leading
company in the pharmaceutical trade as well as in the marketing and sale of healthcare
and dental equipment and supplies in Finland and Sweden, and to grow
selectively in the Baltic countries, Denmark, Poland and Russia.
Oriola-KD Corporation was formed as a result of a
demerge of Orion Corporation on 1st of July 2006. The company is listed on the
Helsinki Stock Exchange since 3rd of July 2006. Oriola-KD Corporation consists
of Oriola Oy in Finland and Kronans Droghandel AB in Sweden as well as their
subsidiaries in Sweden, Denmark and in the Baltic countries. The public trade
of Oriola-KD Corporation’s stocks was started on 3rd of July 2006 on the
Helsinki Stock Exchange.
